Renee L. Paige is a native of Baltimore who graduated cum laude from Howard University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She also attended law school at Purdue Global Concord Law School and received a Master's of Legal Studies degree at The Colleges of Law–Santa Barbara with a focus on Risk Management.
While attending Howard, she developed vital leadership and interpersonal skills that enabled her to manage and work well with others to complete projects on time. Her legal background has also enabled her to mitigate financial risks in her daily work within the entertainment industry.
A natural born leader, Renee wears many hats. She currently serves as an executive producer for HEEP Entertainment and is also a producer and creative screenwriter. As an executive producer, she created the short film, “Gritty 2019.” She also secured funding, managed the cast and crew, and met strict
deadlines to complete the film and remained within the budget. Renee also developed the shooting schedule, established a detailed production plan, and offered creative suggestions to the director during the production process.
Renee believes in the adage by Zig Ziglar that states,
“You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.”
She loves helping others. For example, when the filming industry resumed filming post Covid-19, she volunteered as a covid nurse on production sets to ensure the safety of the cast and crew according to (SAG) Covid-19 regulations. With her entrepreneurial spirit, she continues to serve others and currently hosts “The Leading Ladies” podcast, a platform used to empower women (and sometimes gentlemen) with thought-provoking content and interviews. This podcast allows guests to share their stories on a variety of topics ranging from mental health, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), domestic abuse, alcoholism, entrepreneurship, life in the industry and a host of other subject matters.
We believe in producing stories that encourage and spark stimulating conversations, while educating our audience.
